| 3/10/08 | Unable to open Maple files within eCollege Vista | Blackboard Notified | Go to the original message and click on "View Attachments" at the bottom. When that window opens, instead of trying to save it via the bottom "Save" button or click on the file name to open it immediately, what you must do is click on the file name using your right mouse button. When the little context menu appears, select "Save Target as..." assuming you are using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser (or similar words in other web browsers). Then when the file menu opens, it will suggest the file name: filename??.xml. Change that xml extension to a .mw extention. You may also change the main part of the file name, if you wish. After you log out of eCollege Vista, then you can open your file with Maple.

For example, an existing Vista section is promoted to a course template. That works.
• Then, the instructor tries to move that template from “the real course” over to a differing course to use it as a starting point for template development. This is not working and the template disappears.
• Instead, go back to the original section and promote it to a template in the second course. You can promote a section as a template to any course…..

| 11/6/07 | Calculated grade missing from Gradebook | Blackboard notified | When using the SUM function, if a member of the list has no data in its column, the resulting grade calculation is empty. However, if you use basic arithmetic operators (+), the result appears in the grade column.
As an example the column QzTotal using function: SUM(Qz1,Qz2,Qz3) would result in a number if there were grades in all 3 quizzes. However, if Qz2 were blank, then QzTotal would remain empty for that student.
Instead of using the SUM function, you can use Qz1+Qz2+Qz3 for the QzTotal calculation and a result would show regardless of the blank score for Qz2. | Open |

%20 in html is a space. When it encounters this is assumes the path is done and can't find the image. A bug report has been submitted for Development to come up with a way to bypass this however the only workaround for now would be to rename the folders that are being used so that they include an underscore as opposed to a space. | Resolved |
