The Center for teaching & Distance learning develops and offers training and other events to support teaching and online learning. Our professional development staff are available to help on a group or individual basis.
Workshops & Events
Each semester, the CTDL offers a variety of workshops, including the Online Teaching Certification, at each of our campuses and online. Twice a year we host the Catalyst Mixer. Catalyst is a chance for all faculty & staff to participate in advances in instructional technology.

The CTDL staff can provide Instructional Design Consultations for Lone Star College System faculty and instructional staff using eCollege services for distance, flex, or traditional courses.
- Plan and design a WebCT course to fit your instructional goals
- Upload content and use advanced features of WebCT tools.
- Review your WebCT course and plan for revision.
