Emergency Planning & Communication for Students Using Vista
The activities listed below are strongly recommended for students using Vista. The eCollege Helpdesk (contact information at the end) will gladly assist you.

- Keep copies of all assignments and other files in a folder on your local computer as well as within the Vista course. (If working in a lab, save files to a disk, flash drive, or other storage device).
- For discussion postings or email messages, especially lengthy ones, enter text in Word or Notepad, save the file in a folder on your local computer, and then copy and paste the text in the Vista tool. (If working in a lab, save files to a disk, flash drive, or other storage device).
- If MyGrades is used, occasionally print this page (point to the screen with the mouse, right click the mouse, select print from the menu).
- Print and keep any email messages or assignments that contain instructor feedback or grades.
- Print a copy of your Vista quiz/test results before closing the browser (you will not be able to do this, however, if you are required to use the LockDown Browser to take quizzes/tests).
